WHAT IS MISSION ENDS OF THE EARTH?

"Mission Ends of the Earth: Mexico" is the primary Mission point in LBC's strategy to fulfill the command of Jesus to be His witnesses to the Ends of the Earth (Acts 1:8) in partnership with Way of the Cross Ministries (wotc.org) based in Harlingen, Texas.

WHO IS THIS MINISTRY FOR? 

This ministry is for children, students, and adults of LBC who desire to be a witness outside of their comfort zone to the Ends of the Earth.

WHEN AND WHERE DOES MISSION ENDS OF THE EARTH MEET? 

We make periodic trips to Mexico throughout the year. Medfest is our most diverse with opportunities including medical care, children's ministry, pastoral training, bicycle repair, and evangelism. Missionary Training School involves teaching students from teenagers to senior adults basic theology and practical ministry. Construction trips often include building a concrete block house for a needy family along with ministry to the children and women of the village.

WHY I SHOULD CONSIDER BEING INVOLVED WITH THIS MINISTRY? 

The last words of Jesus found are Acts 1:8 - "But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth." He has called each of us to be a witness to the Ends of the Earth. This requires us to travel outside the United States to share the Gospel with others who perhaps have never heard.

WHAT IS THE MISSION OF THIS MINISTRY?

"Mission Ends of the Earth: Mexico" exists to meet the physical needs of the people of Mexico that we might have the opportunity to meet their spiritual needs through a witness of the Gospel and encouragement of local Pastors in the establishment of disciple-making churches.
