covid-19 schedule updates

May 4, 2020

Dear Church Family,

Let me begin by letting you know how much we have missed seeing all of you in person over these weeks of staying in our homes. We have enjoyed interacting electronically and receiving words of encouragement for our efforts provide online services and resources to help you stay connected during this time. As we have now received guidance from our national, state, and local leaders about how to safely return to public worship, our Church Council has made the following plans for our family of faith. These plans are subject to change based upon conditions at the time and further guidance from governmental leaders.

Guiding Principles in Our Decision-Making

  • We are anxious to return to a normal schedule as soon as possible; however, we want to allow ample time to formulate our plans and share them through all electronic and print means
  • We are ready to resume public worship based upon the latest and best advice available from governmental and Southern Baptist leaders as outlined below; however, each person must consider their specific circumstances in deciding when to return (we have provided a link to Governor Lee’s guidelines at www.lbcfamily.net/tnguidelines)
  • We do not want to hinder anyone from participating in resumed worship and other activities; however, we will be guided by the allowed capacity in any our meeting spaces in consideration of social distancing
  • We ask that anyone who is currently sick and/or running a fever to delay coming back to church until they have recovered

Planned Schedule Restart
